We have an opening for a FT Toddler Teacher.
The teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment where each child can work towards reaching their full potential.
The teacher communicates daily with parents, attends staff meetings, professional development opportunities, manage classroom duties, implements curriculum using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD assessment system and has the necessary skills to be a positive team player.
We are looking for a family centered, trauma informed, creative, fun-loving individual who understands the positive impact a toddler teacher has on each child and family that comes through their classroom.
This is a FT, 40 hour a week position.
The requirements for this position are:
* RIDE ECE Teacher certification or BA with 24 ECE credits
* RIELDS (or a plan to achieve within one year)
* Experience working with young children ages 18mos -3 years old
* CPR/First Aid Certified
* Ability to lift 20-35 pounds, bend, walk, sit, squat or kneel and be able to see, hear, and speak with children to ensure their health and safety.
