3rdshift, from10:00 pm to 6:30 am, off on Tuesdayand Saturday
General Purpose
The Pasteurizer ensures that all known pathogens are pasteurized and the product is homogenized.
Run and maintain pasteurizers and other related equipment within a dairy production environment.
High responsibility – Responsible for quality, food safety, and product specifications.
Operate pasteurizers in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Obtain milk and cream samples for testing by the lab to include raw and processed products.
Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and other equipment as needed.
Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches.
Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
Report any food safety and food quality-related issues to management immediately.
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work consistently with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Requirements:
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Production or general work experience preferred.
Certification and/or License – may be required during employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to follow directions and carry out instructions.
Able to effectively work in a team environment.
Able to write entries legibly for record-keeping.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for virtually the entire shift.
Must be ableto lift to 50 pounds occasionally, including overhead.
Must be able to work in a wet environment.
Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks)
