IN A NUTSHELL… The Facilities Sanitation Technician II is responsible for ensuring the facility and production machinery is provided with adequate and timely custodial services.
This role is with NETA, one of the renowned retail brands under the Parallel umbrella.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * Dismantles, cleans, sanitizes, and reassembles production machinery or production areas.
* Inspects work area for cleanliness; completes required paperwork documenting activities.
* Safely uses and stores cleaning materials, ensuring they are labeled correctly.
* Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing windows, emptying trash, and recycling receptacles, replacing liners in trash cans, etc.
* Cleans and services restrooms with disinfectants and other cleaning agents.
* Reports maintenance concerns or repair requests to Facilities Management * Update safety data sheets as new chemicals are implemented.
* May operate machinery necessary for marijuana waste disposal.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING Required * Age 21 or over * High School Diploma or equivalent * Valid Government-Issued Photo I * Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
Preferred * 1+ years custodial experience with knowledge of proper and safe use of custodial equipment.
* Knowledge of chemical use and purpose.
* Good organization and time management skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
* Ability to be able to be in constant standing/moving position.
* Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting.
* Ability to work in extreme weather.
* Ability to ascend/descend a ladder.
