Here's a late 60s to early 70s gibson thinline case, with purple interior.
it is in rock solid very good condition, with some "normal" handling wear and edge wear for a case that is around 50 yeas old.

On the back, the bottom seam has been professionally restored while maintaining as close to originality as possible.

the back has been reglued, tolex reglued, and bare wood in that area has been clear-coated to protect it.
it is rock solid and has a nice original relic look as well.
A new handle has been installed that is "vintage correct" with its 70's era BRUCE logo.
I know from experience that in that era, the handle mounting brackets are mounted in a plane that is not straight, which often causes the handle to break over time.
It is also quite difficult to find a handle that will fit in that imperfect space.
The BRUCE handle i have used retains the original axle pins.
The handle is in there a little tighter than the original and tends to want to stand
upright all the time.

Nevertheless, it works pretty well, looks good, and should last a long time if not abused.
Inside, the purple lining is in very good condition with good color and knap, and the original hinge covers are intact.
Looks good! I added a piece of green felt (lightly tacked down) to protect the neck, as the original purple was worn down to the wood.
This felt can be easily removed if you prefer a different solution.
All latches are in working order and ball feet are present.
Overall the case gets high marks for functionality and looks as a vintage case.

It came from the factory with an es335 but is correct for many models around 1970, including es 120, 125, 225, 340, 345, and 355.
